Critical Care Anesthesiologist Position
The Department of Anesthesiology is seeing Anesthesiologists with fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine. This position involves clinical care in the ICU managed by the Anesthesiology Department (Surgical ICU, CTICU, Liver ICU at Ronald Reagan Medical Center at UCLA and other affiliated locations). The Anesthesiologist will be involved in teaching, research, and academic development of trainees. Candidate must have a commitment to active involvement in patient care and teaching of trainees with opportunities for scholarly effort, clinical research and administrative activities. Appointment will be in the HS Clinical Series and at rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor based on background and years of experience in professorial position. Candidate must be Critical Care Board certified and eligible to obtain a California Medical License and DEA.

UCLA Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Precision Medicine and Cardiovascular Biology
The Department of Anesthesiology and Cardiovascular Research Theme in the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine seek applications for a tenure-track faculty position at academic rank appropriate for qualifications.
The applicants should have MD and/or PhD and are expected to have demonstrated high impact contributions through innovative research in the broad fields of precision medicine and cardiovascular biology. Applicants should have a commitment to team-science research and excellent potential for extramural funding. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an independent research program and to interface with the existing cardiovascular programs including systems based discovery and UC-wide translational science.
The applicant would be part of a newly organized Cardiovascular Research Theme at UCLA, spanning multiple Departments and Institutes, offering newly renovated lab space, state of the art core facilities and collaborative opportunities in basic and translational research. He/she will also participate in the training of clinical fellows, graduate students and post-doctoral scientists.

Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist Position
The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking applications for a faculty position as Health Sciences Assistant/Associate/ or Full Clinical Professor. Applicant must be fellowship trained in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, be board certified in Anesthesiology and be eligible to hold a California Medical License. This position involves clinical care, teaching, research, and academic development of trainees. Candidate must have commitment to active involvement in patient care and teaching of trainees with opportunities for scholarly effort, clinical research and administrative activities. General Anesthesiology Position
The UCLA Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is represented by all anesthesia subspecialties (cardiac, obstetric, neurologic, ophthalmic, pediatric, transplant), pain management and critical care. Faculty positions in all areas become available periodically. Appointment in the Clinician – Teacher Academic Professorial Series requires clinical and didactic skills, possession or eligibility for a California Medical License and American Board of Anesthesiology certification, or in process. Interest or experience in clinical research is desirable. Appointment in the Regular Professorial Series (Tenure Track) additionally requires evidence of research productivity, scholarly writing and a commitment to discovery. Appointment as an Associate Professor or Full Professor in either of these series requires demonstration that you have been continuously and effectively engaged in creative activity of high quality and significance.
