The Pain Program Team provides compassionate care for individuals experiencing acute, cancer or chronic pain.

We diagnose and treat symptoms including those of: 

    · Cancer pain 
    · Headaches 
    · Back pain 
    · Neck pain 
    · Abdominal pain 
    · Pelvic pain 
    · Arthritic pain 
    · Shingles 
    · Fibromyalgia 
    · Pain associated with TMJ and RSD 
    · Phantom pain 
    · Vascular pain/Neuropathic pain 
The Medical Director is F. Michael Ferrante, M.D. Dr. Ferrante is Board Certified in Anesthesia, Pain Management and Internal Medicine.   Dr. Nirmala Abraham Hidalgo and Dr. Eric Hsu are also affilated with the clinic.  

The Range of Services we provide include Invasive and Non-invasive techniques such as:

    · Epidural Steroid Injections 
    · Oral Pain Medications 
    · Injections 
    · Operative procedures 
    · Implantation of drug administration systems 
    · Insertion of spinal cord stimulator
    · Alternative methods such as physical therapy and acupuncture 
In addition to our other services, the UCLA Pain Program Center also offers support groups, such as the Cancer Support Group and the Phantom Limb Support Group (Aids for Living).

Billing Procedures:
You and/or your insurance carrier will be billed for our services.  If you are a member of an HMO, or are covered by a carrier that requires approval from your primary physician, it is your responsibility to notify them for prior approval.
