The UCLA Office of Continuing Medical Education is pleased to announce the "UCLA Comprehensive Review of Pain Management" course scheduled to take place Saturday and Sunday, May 6-7, 2006 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.  This conference fulfills the California state-licensing requirement Law AB 487 that requires physicians and surgeons to complete 12 hours of mandatory instruction in pain and end-of-life management by December 31, 2006.  The course is chaired by Dr. F. Michael Ferrante, Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology and Medicine.

A stellar group of UCLA faculty are involved with the symposium designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the pathophysiology and treatment of pain.
