Pediatric Cardic Anesthesia Fellowship

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking applicants for a one-year FELLOWSHIP position in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. Must have a MD degree, and completed an Anesthesiology Residency. Completion of an ACGME fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia is preferred. Must have (or be eligible to obtain) a CA Medical License and DEA. This position will be appointed as a Clinical Instructor.

The focus of this fellowship is to obtain training in the delivery of anesthetic care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgery procedure for the correction of congenital heart defects, care of patients in the pediatric catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories, and general operating room care of pediatric patients with congenital cardiac disease. Also, the Clinical Instructor will serve as an attending general anesthesiologist one day per week, in the general operating rooms.
